2010 Chenin Blanc - Arroyo Seco
The Chenin Blanc for this project comes from the Ventana Vineyard located in the Arroyo Seco appellation. This region is the coldest wine growing region that we source and typically has been the last fruit we receive. The wine spent its entire life in a barrel and shows layers of fruits, melons and pears mingled with rich mineral aromas. The blend of Chard resulted in this multi-layered Chenin with a straight forward clean taste. Awesome acid profile and a very exciting nose!
75% Chenin Blanc, 25% Chardonnay

2010 RVM - Love Ranch Vineyard, Madera
Rolling with mineral and spice and a touch of fresh cut wheat grass. With super clean flawless taste, this wine finishes well and the acid does a much of the work. Honestly, this wine steals the show. Multi-layered, complex and elegant. This wine is another example of a full barrel fermentation and barrel aged excellence. Again, we tend to focus on French “neutral” barrels for all our white wines.

2009 GMS - Love Ranch Vineyard, Madera
This wine is field blended from grapes grown at Love Ranch Vineyard in Madera. The Rhone blend comes with some nice layers of perfume of flowers, spice, and hints of orange peels. This wine has tons of character, it is delicate in the nose and finishes just like it should with chewy tannins and acid. This wine will continue to evolve and keep surprising us as it ages. Enjoy this wine now or put it in the cellar as it will continue to blossom if aged for 3 years.

2009 Syrah - Fasi Estate Vineyard, Madera
With an amazing nose, hints of minerals, chalk, blueberries and a subtle trace of cracked white pepper come through on this wine. This year’s Fasi Syrah has distinct flavors of ripe berries all the while retaining its classic acid profile and tannin balance. A must age wine; it will continue to develop its flavors and aromas. The winemaker recommends aging at least two years.

2009 Tempranillo - Giacone Vineyard, Paso Robles
From West Paso, we bring another single vineyard designated varietal from Giacone Vineyard. This is our first Tempranillo, a great variety to work with, minimally blended with Cabernet from our “Branches” program.
This wine is already showing great longevity in overall balance, an aromatic beauty and a lush mouth feel. Aromas of currant, blackberries, and hints of anise will all appear in your glass. The core of this wine exhibits a round and full mouth feel that finishes with clean taste. This Tempranillo can most definitely be enjoyed now, but note that it will continue to expand and mature as it is aged.

2009 Vino Tinto
Bright cherry fruit with an incredible nose, the aromas jump out of the glass. This has proven to be one of our flagship wines from the very beginning. Vino Tinto is our every day drinking wine. In the mouth it has great balance. Tannins are tame and relaxed. Lush in the mouth with great finish, again this blend wine will be a RT favorite.

2009 Zinfandel - Dave Lucas Vineyard, Lodi
It is always a pleasure to work with and source our Zinfandel from Lucas Vineyards and this vintage seems to tell why. From organically grown grapes comes the 2009 vintage. The show starts with aromas of leather, dark fruit and sweet herbs. One would imagine this wine would be huge and fatty, but tasting it proves quite the opposite is true. This wine has some considerable balance with its lean structure, smooth tannins, showing huge flavor and a great finish. This wine can be enjoyed now, but should reach its prime in 2014.

2008 Generations
The Alicante Bouschet grapes used for this blend come from Cedar View Vineyard. Winemaker Oscar Ramos started his winemaking ventures at the Cedar View Estate with the help of Jim and Debbie Van Haun. The Van Haun’s nurtured Ramos’ career in winemaking and to them he owes much thanks and appreciation. Generations is our Alicante project and a tribute to their guidance and support.
In this wine you will find some nice cola aromas, ripe berries, a wonderful clean nose and some underlying hints of lavender. Tannins are chewy and are beginning to balance out. Nicely crafted and blended to yield a food friendly wine to enjoy now.
