2018 Field Blend Retail: $32.00 | Club: $24.00

This is a blend of 80% Grenache and 20% Syrah from Love Ranch that were combined in the field at the time of picking (which is where we get the name), and then co-fermented at the winery. This wine features notes of caramel and vanilla underneath the fruity characters of dried strawberry and cranberry. Raspberry and cherry also peak through on the nose. The lengthy aging also produces some leathery and straw aromas, which are fairly typical of aromatics that Love Ranch soil can yield. This is a medium bodied wine that is complimented by its smooth and softened tannin and a bright finish. This wine can appeal to both novice and expert tasters.

2018 Petite Sirah Retail: $40.00 | Club: $30.00

If you recall the 2018 Branches Cabernet, then you probably will enjoy this wine as well. It is the inverse of the blend of that 2018 Cab. This is made from the same grapes received in 2018 that went into the production of that year’s Branches. The only difference is that this lot of wine was aged for an extra year in barrel. It’s an incredibly rich and full-bodied wine, with fairly high alcohol and lots of tannin. Despite its age, you’ll still enjoy rich and dark fruit aromas as well as plenty of barrel aromatics like chocolate, cinnamon, and baking spices. This wine can hold up against the boldest meat dishes, as well as serve as a standalone wine after a meal.

2021 Pegallin Retail: $24.00 | Club: $18.00

This is a French nouveaux-style wine which was made from 100% Carignan grapes here in Kingsburg. This underwent carbonic maceration for about two weeks and then was pressed to neutral barrels, where it aged for approximately 2 months prior to bottling. This is a relatively low-pH wine for a red, sitting right about 3.50 and therefore lends a medium acidity to the mouthfeel. It’s very fruity and soft, but there is a bit of tannin. The aromatics are representative of a carbonic wine; some bubblegum and green tea aromas but there’s some cherry and strawberry notes going on too, alongside some black pepper. This is a pretty good representation of the French Nouveaux tradition and is probably best enjoyed slightly chilled with light appetizers.

2021 Lomas Retail: $30.00 | Club: $22.50

This features all four of the Rhone varieties that are currently grown at Love Ranch Vineyard including a small percentage of Counoise. Right off the bat, notes of dried strawberry, raspberry jam, mint, and cardamom spice aromas jump out of the glass. This wine is medium bodied and mildly tannic. It has a juicy and smooth finish, supple tannin, and round mouthfeel, this wine will satisfy any red wine enthusiast.

2021 Panza Retail: $36.00 | Club: $27.00

The 2021 Panza was made with 95% Syrah and 5% Viognier, and we let the wine sit on the grape skins for about 90 days after the fermentation finished for the extended maceration. This wine features some nice dark aromatics of blackberry, blackcurrant, black pepper, and even a minty note. Also, there is something from the oak that shows through as vanilla or smokiness. There is a good amount of tannin on the palate but it’s not overwhelming. It gives a good coating all over the mouth and lingers for a bit. All of this is balanced out with a lengthy warm finish. It would be no problem to drink this wine now, or to put it in the cellar for several years before opening. Your choice! Pair with meat or a fine cigar!

2021 Houzini Retail: $40.00 | Club: $30.00

This Old Vine Zinfandel is grown by Moniz Family Vineyards near Morgan Hill. It presents plum, jam and baking spice aromatics. This wine shows hints of blackberry, vanilla, caramel, pepper, and graphite. Spicy and vibrant on the mouthfeel, the tannin is approachable and round. It is definitely not as jammy as some Lodi Zinfandels, instead it’s a bit more tame in that respect. Though the alcohol is mid-range, the wine is still warm, tannic and has a lengthy finish. Perfect to pair with meats, or even after a meal on its own.

2021 Bandolero Retail: $32.00 | Club: $24.00

The last Bandolero that we sold was the 2019 vintage, so it’s about time we brought this back for all of you to enjoy. This time around, however, we made it in the Spanish “Riserva” style. That means that this Tempranillo was aged in barrel for at least one year and in bottle for at least six months. This wine was in American oak barrels for two years, and then in bottle for six months. Right off the bat, there is a huge amount of spice aromatics that jump out of the glass, like cinnamon, nutmeg, black pepper - as well as rich dark fruity notes of black cherry, blackberry and plum. Mildly tannic, this Tempranillo won’t destroy your taste buds, but it gives you a nice full bodied palate that is nicely balanced by the acidity. Smooth finish, medium tannin, and round mouthfeel, this wine will satisfy any red wine enthusiast.

2021 Fat Chubby Retail: $46.00 | Club: $34.50

This wine has deep dark red fruit aromas, lots of leather and smoky notes. Despite this depth of aroma, the wine is surprisingly juicy and medium-bodied on the palate. The acidity helps this wine maintain a vibrant mouthfeel and fresh finish. For best results, it might be best to aerate this wine or decant for a day. The fruitiness will become more intense, and it tastes better overall.

2021 Branches Retail: $58.00 | Club: $43.50

This Cabernet Sauvignon is one of our more anticipated wines that’s released every few Years. Unlike previous years, this vintage was produced with grapes sourced from Dry Creek Valley in Sonoma. This is a 92% Cabernet and 8% Petite Sirah blend, and when you pour this wine into a glass, the first thing noticeable is the deep, dark fruit and spice notes. There’s a good deal of intense plum and cherry pie aromas alongside the notes of baking spices, nutmeg, maple, vanilla, and leather. This wine saw 24 months’ time in new French oak barrels. The tannins are bold, but not overpowering. The tannins come off as chewy at first, but then transform into soft, full, and round on the palate. This is definitely a great choice for pairing with smoked or grilled meat. Or, easily enjoy it on its own on a cold night by the fire.

2020 Vino Tinto Retail: $30.00 | Club: $22.50

We produce Vino Tinto to be a very approachable and affordable red wine that can be your everyday drinker. This vintage lives up to its reputation with great fruity aromas of black plum, raspberry, blackberry, blueberry, and some cocoa and vanilla. Aged in barrel for 14 months and then bottled unfiltered, it’s the perfect pairing for almost any meal. This is a fairly tannic wine and we expect it should be ageable for a number of years. While the alcohol is high, the wine is balanced, rich, and enjoyable!

Whites

2021 Marsanne Retail: $26.00 | Club: $19.50

Because of the nature of this variety, this wine will come across as fairly viscous and waxy on the mouthfeel. It’s medium bodied (for a white wine) and has juicy and fruity flavors. It’s bursting with clean and crisp citrus aromatics, pear, lemon peel, honeydew melon, and a little bit of butterscotch and caramel from 10 months of barrel aging and from the barrel fermentation. This wine can definitely appeal to those who enjoy Chardonnay. This wine is unfined and unfiltered—It was sur-lie aged in order to improve the body and mouthfeel overall. This is a must-have for those who enjoy dry, fruity white wines.

2022 Conversations Retail: $22.00 | Club: $16.60

A fun and light-hearted wine, an homage to the vibe of Ramos Torres Winery. We wanted to produce a wine that many can enjoy when you just want to sit back and relax on a warm day. This 100% Muscat Blanc is just what you want to sip if you don’t mind a bit of sweetness-- traditional to the style of this French grape variety. First taste yields some tropical flavors, peach, nectarine, and pear. Aromatics are high in terpenes, so it has a “grapey” aroma, along with floral and honey notes. This wine is off-dry (2.5% sweetness), so even for those more selective wine drinkers, this is a pleasant option. With a smooth and lingering finish balanced by moderate acidity, this wine can be enjoyed by itself, with fruit, a variety of cheeses, or spicy dishes like Thai cuisine.

2023 Chenin Blanc Retail: $26.00 | Club: $19.50

As is typical with many Chenin Blancs, this is a very lightly colored white with subtle juicy, fruity, and floral aromatics and notes of dried straw. The palate features balanced acidity making it quite easy to sip. This wine is quite dry with low alcohol as the fruit was picked at about 20.2 Brix. It’s 100% Chenin Blanc from Lorie’s Vineyard in Madera, and it was fermented using a combination of saccharomyces and non-saccharomyces yeast, aged in a 500-liter oak puncheon for five months, stirred in Viognier lees to help build the mouthfeel, then filtered and bottled for your enjoyment.

2023 Picpoul Blanc Retail: $26.00 | Club: $19.50

This is a limited production for the RT Vino Club. Its aromas may remind you of a Sauvignon Blanc, with a good deal of citrus and lemongrass notes as well as melon and pineapple. This wine was natively fermented and aged in neutral French Oak for six months before bottling causing tart and fresh fruity aromas and a bit of roundness from the barrel micro-oxidation. It has a fairly low pH of about 3.50 so it will be crisp and clean on the palate and the finish is refreshing and fruity. It’s a dry wine, with about 11.6% alcohol - perfect for a summer day. Best enjoyed chilled and served with cheese, vegetables, and cured meats.

2023 Viognier Retail: $26.00 | Club: $19.50

The newest Viognier from Love Ranch is a huge white wine. Usually, we would reserve that language for only red wines, but based not only on the aromatics of this wine, but also the viscosity of the palate, we would say it’s huge. The grapes came in very ripe this year; approximately 26 Brix—typically that’s higher than is preferred but we had to wait in 2023 longer than usual until the grape flavors were right. Unfortunately, this meant that the acid levels dropped, so this wine will come across and viscous and heavy on the mouthfeel. It is bursting with tropical aromas of mango, peach, melon, and a little bit of vanilla from the barrel fermentation. There are a lot of terpene compound aromatics, which is why this wine even smells like a Muscat wine might. The higher alcohol gives this wine a lot of depth on the palate and in the finish. This is a must-have for those who enjoy dry, fruity white wines.

Rose

2023 Rosato Retail: $26.00 | Club: $19.50

Since we haven’t produced this wine since 2017, Rosato is back after much popular demand. This is a dry Rose of Grenache and Mourvedre. You’ll enjoy notes of ripe and fresh strawberry, blueberry, raspberry preserve, and some persimmon. It is refreshing and crisp, with approachable acidity. This wine is great served chilled on a summer day.

Sparkling

2021 Colinas Retail: $26.00 | Club: $19.50

This is a 50/50 blend of Picpoul Blanc and Grenache Blanc that completed fermentation in the bottle, giving it a bubbly and fresh aroma the second you pop the cork. Right away it starts effervescing very fresh apple, pear, and banana notes with hints of tropical fruit. Its high acidity keeps the wine feeling lively on the palate, while the high amount of natural carbonation gives this wine a very full mouthfeel. Lots of fresh fruit and citrus makes this a very fun wine to sip, while the lower alcohol ensures that you’ll still feel fine after a glass or two. It’s worth mentioning that since this is a natural fermentation, there is yeast present in the wine, which imparts some fresh “biscuity” or yeasty aromatics. It’s best to store this wine standing up to keep the yeast settled at the bottom and it’s preferred to serve this wine chilled. Try this with a charcuterie board with fresh fruit and cheeses or enjoy this at brunch with friends!

Dessert

Adrenalino Lot 3 Retail: $40.00 | Club: $30.00

Adrenalino is a non-vintage “Solera” style wine made from 100% Alicante Bouschet. “Solera” refers to blending all vintages of a wine together in a stack of barrels and then bottling a couple at a time. This increases the complexity of the vintages going forward. Lot 3 of this port-style wine is definitely sweet, sitting at about 11% sugar and 19.5% alcohol. Great raisin and nutty aromas pop out at first, as well as a little bit of anise, chocolate, and baking spice. It tastes like milk chocolate and fruit candies; it has a little tannin followed by a warm and lengthy finish. It pairs well with a cigar and chocolate.
